This year I had the great honor to design the 2010 Alcuin Society Awards for Excellence in Book Design in Canada<\/em> catalog.<\/p>\n

The awards are held yearly by the Alcuin society. This year I desinged the catalog, next to the design I also photographed the images used to seperate the different chapters.<\/p>\n

I spend hours on the beach shooting, books, type and typographic meters and other print related material.<\/p>\n

Designing the cataloge was quite a bit of work but working with a great team made it, a fun project, despite many late night hours.<\/p>\n

I had great editors & translator who delivered perfect manuscrip and had a sharp eye for any possible mistakes.<\/p>\n

The pictures of the books were shot by CoastImagingArts – with a mind boggling quality.<\/p>\n

The catalog will now travel across Canada acompaying the book, eventually the exhibition will travel to Tokyo and later the Frankfurt and Leipzig book fair.<\/p>\n
